Me: "Being a girl has never been so tough."
Her: "I dunno. In the old times, they didn't have tampons or rights."
And here comes my PMDD - ready to fuck shit up

Only my hormones make my depression unbearable feeling. I grew up with a sadness since I could remember and that was as easy to hold as my jansport. But as soon as estrogen in my increased, i went from a manageable melancholy to turbulent hysteria that scared me and everyone around me.
One of my managers pulled me into his office, and bless him in this instance but it was not to scold, but to bring to my attention i called out the same time every month, “something I might want to look into”
My bipolar was rooted in hormonal imbalance, and it took an entire decade from when it became pronounced to find some means to make it more manageable (For me, I had low progesterone and high estrogen and testosterone, I think, because the progesterone mini pill has made it so I can at least hold down a job)
All I gotta say is this man must have the patience of a saint if he puts up with me on my period. I have PMDD so we get all the mood swings up in this bitch. One minute I’m fine. Then I’m crying. Then I’m threatening someone. Then I’m fine again.
