i just had my tongue pierced and the piercing itself wasn't that bad just a pinch. but the couple days afterwards it did hurt and you have to figure out how to eat. but then after that you're golden. i like it a lot.
Yeaaah, I am kind of afraid of that too XD I should probably plan it during holidays if I am going to do it... (I will work in a library during my uni year so it could end up being a problem :P)

When my nose was pierced it was painful - I prefer the pain during a tattoo than during a piercing I have to admit :P
