The Plumpy was originally an Advent Calendar surprise. As a result, it's a bit weird mechanically in the sense that it's clearly an Angelpuss, but it's not called an Angelpuss, can be painted in colours not available to the Angelpuss, and for the colours that overlap, has different designs than the Angelpuss.

However, none of that actually matters, because Plumpy is amazing. It honestly has better art than a regular Angelpuss, and the expression of pure disdain adds a lot to it, as does the nice variable-weight lineart and the tiny wings. I want to adopt 50 of these things and feed them the bacon they so clearly deserve.

Favorite Colours:

Valentine: I appreciate the redraw, and once again, the expression of pure disdain is really doing a lot of heavy lifting here. The shading is also good, and this is the Plumpy colour that made me realize they have long tails.

Chocolate: Not only is it inherently bon-bon shaped to begin with, but the chocolate dripping off the halo is a really nice touch. Also has a nice palette and some good shading.

Strawberry: I've mentioned the shading on most of these, and the strawberry Plumpy is no exception. I love way the seeds are the same yellow colour as the halo and tail, and the the little leaf wings are too perfect.

PLUMPY!! THE OLD MAN IS BACK!! His candy's been changed from Sugar Plums to Candied Apples, which I suppose makes sense since no one really knows what Sugar Plums are now and days except for those who've seen the Nutcracker or been read Twas the Night Before Christmas (btw; this is what they are-):

I do have to wonder why he was gone for so many years though, it can't be because of public domain because the Lorax is still under copyright (2067). But again... with no talk of it online except for the listings on the Hasbro site and 2 TikToks, I wonder if he's why. Or it's because it was announced 2 weeks ago at a convention, idk-

Putting these 3 together bc they share the same space now, and wow... I did not realize how geographically splotchy the games were. Like, the two climates that are cold and the two climates often combined to make a sweet aren't near each other, but split? I mean, not much of an issue with Grandma Nutt and Gloppy since they were like, seperated by one land, but look at the others!

And the last three games had the cold climates polar to each other and the Grandma Nut/Gloppy being cut out!

Ik this is a Baby's First Game, but it's intresting to point out the lil details that get left behind. Then again, I'm not a geo-expert, so maybe this can happen IRL where similar climates can be split in the same region?

... Oh! Lord Licorice! I wanted to avoid talking abt Mint and Frostine till later, but since they followed under the same change, I'd figure to get both in one stone; the layout of the areas been changed. Anyway, Licorice! He looks so sweet (pun intended) here! Cutie patootie... my shayla... Oh wait, Licorice Lagoon and Choclate Swamp are on top of each other now.. must feel like Punk Hazard crossing this part.

King Kandy, back to his beautiful pinky-glory! Ik all the other designs are meant to be like "Wow, he's very old, must've been ruling for some time" but I'M SUCH A SUCKER FOR HIS PINK BEARD AND HIS WRAPPER-LIKE ATTIRE HE LOOKS LIKE A CUTE GRANDPA!!

It seems that much like Grandma Nutt, he's decided to step down from the throne and take over Ice Cream Float, or Ice Cream Beach as it's now called, which he fits very well with his new Ice Cream crown. I also love his otter friend.

No Jolly this time around (weird, you'd think with Plumpy being back it'd cause a ha-loo, but maybe Jolly was the price for Plumpy) but instead these two bears!! I want to bring up the players/lore later, but apparently according to the listing they're Sweety and Soury, tho tbh I think they're names should be Gumm and Grumm. Other than that... um.. next character!

Nothing much to comment on Lolly since she's basically her OG design but with brown eyes and darker skin. But she's equally adorable, def has King Kandy (actually.. is that his name now?? With the ice cream theming? idk)

I present to y'all the Happy Bonbon AU, as the name implies, it's the alternative universe where she is happy instead of sad.
