O had a mother who was terribly mentally + physically ill causing her to be reliant on him. She most likely had disorders like BPD or DID. And she was quite attached towards O (not in the weird way)

O's mom later k*lled herself which made O think he failed her so he later joined Spawnism in order to help heal himself.

Later, the mentor introduced him to (his love interest) and promised him that she'll help him,

while that did work, and he did SOMEWHAT recover, they later realized he may leave the spawn if She continues. So they ordered (his love interest) to sacrifice him, She pretended to agree but led him to a private village to hide him from the mentor. She knows she might get tracked down so she ended her life to protect his.

He became absolutely miserable, and tried to "resurrect" her by using dead animal or human body parts, stitching it to her so she looked "perfect" and then he ended up in forsaken
