@xandermcqueer has sent me an update on the situation:

“ So, Jynx is home and settled and got through his first day amazingly. He's such a trooper, he's taking his medicines with no issue and eating regularly. I will take him in tomorrow for his first bandage change.

As I promised earlier I've attached the final bill, with sensitive information blocked of course. It ended up being less than I had projected, for which I am extremely grateful. I've adjusted the goal to match it. As you all can see I've also change the name of the goal. Since I managed to get it paid with loans and credit, and he's out of immediate danger, it felt wrong. But I am not in a great position. I'm a full-time college senior that also works 15-30 hour weeks with other bills to pay. That's never been an issue before, I've managed, and I've always been loathe to ask for help. I even considered closing this campaign and finding a way to handle it myself. But the honest truth is I can't. I absolutely understand any hesitation to donate from this point on, especially at this time of year. But anything at all is so greatly appreciated, and needed, so I am leaving it open. If anyone can donate anything, before or after the holidays, we will be eternally grateful. To everyone who has donated or spread this campaign, I sound like a broken record, but THANK YOU. Jynx means the absolute world to me, and not getting him help was never an option. But it's literally only because of you all that I was able to bring him home. We are forever in your debt. Have a blessed holiday season everyone. “
