Hey Steph, this is kind of a weird question, but I've been encountering a lot of lag and constantly have to clear my cache when I use tumblr's desktop site (the app is much faster & easier for me, the site is borderline unusable). Since you've been on tumblr longer, got any tips for counteracting this? (it's specifically tumblr that's doing this, everything else is fine for me.)

Oh gosh, it’s totally the opposite for me!! Tumblr’s mobile app is garbage for me (will barely load any gifs or images, and good luck getting the chat app to work on the regular) and the desktop one is where I do all my work. Though I have heard a similar problem from my sister @calicoskatts, and she also uses Chrome like I do, so I have no idea if it’s a Mac vs PC thing too (I’m on a Mac, she a PC). Seriously, I have no idea why some people have Tumblr fuck up and others don't. I know some people who blog completely on the app because like you the desktop version is crap, or vice versa. I think all I can suggest is to maybe try different browsers; I had that problem for awhile until I switched to Chrome; It works really good on Safari, and like garbage on IE or Firefox. Or clear out you cache every few days. It might help a bit.
Other than that though, Lovely, I don't think it has anything to do with you or your computer; this hellsite hasn't functioned properly since Yahoo bought it.
