Anyone else see those really weird and toxic dod fans of Pinterest and tt saying some cracked and delusional shit about forsaken?
This is obviously not directed to the die of death community as a whole, as it is more so about the Pinterest and tiktok communities. I have come across a post that called forsaken a dod ripoff. dod was inspired by forsaken and was made a little while after. Forsaken's alpha was released Dec 25, 2024 and then officially released on January 4, 2025. While Die of Death was released on March 7th of 2025.
There was also a post by some rando calling Yi Xi a pursuer ripoff. Which is like... what? both the song and the game came out at around the same time, and considering the fact that Yi Xi is unrelated to roblox outside of fanmade skins the entire claim was baseless and uninformed. So many people on the internet lack basic media literacy skills to such an ignorant degree that I am convinced they'll say anything to make their hate for something valid.
TikTok and Pinterest rlly need to stop pretending that one fanbase is better than another, they all are extremely toxic on those platforms. I know I glaze Tumblr a lot, but that's because this platform, although unhinged, is free from most of the toxicity other platforms post interactions. I have also yet to see any slander posts.
On another note, DOD fans, you guys are cool. Hell, from what I've seen I'd argue DOD is written significantly better than forsaken and I'm in the fandom. Keep being you, you're doin great.
