This was from reading a short story book late at night (I know I'm sort of contradicting his idea of rebellion). I still want to keep it close to his canon version and have this version of riddle be an alternative of a 'what if' scenario. He still keeps his strict and rule-following aspects to him and keeps high expectations on him and others (similar situation to book one) however, this idea turns into a more 'perfection aspect' rather than a 'law aspect'. For example in this version of riddle, we'll use the rose: with Canon riddle, he keeps the roses red since they are the law and rules of the Queen of hearts and must follow in perfect order. This version of Riddle still follows the rules but interprets them very differently from Canon Riddle. For the roses, they must be perfect! Everything such as the unbirthday, tea parties, and scheduling like classes and rehearsals must be precise, correct, and perfect. For both the stability and honor of the Queen of hearts and his romanticization of wishing for a perfect day where his knight comes in.

I am debating on whether to write a fic on this or not or keep it short like a comic of some kind.

Not to mention that, as I said, it is okay to dislike the voice. Criticism such as him not having a slavic accent (i.e a term that is around where Russia and Ukraine accent land in, it is also noted that Fyodor's dub va is doing a slavic accent) which is a valid criticism in my genuine opinion. This is a similar case to his Japanese voice, which I argue that both dub and sub have this issue when getting representation right in stuff like in the anime industry. It's very odd to see people complain how his dub doesn't have an accent, yet neither does his Japanese voice well. I have not seen anyone complain about this with the sub (which I hope this is not a double standard situation but it's likely to be the case).

In one of the screenshots, you see a commenter mention his voice sounds like a pedophile. Which I do not have to tell you why this is extremely unacceptable and inappropriate. As I mentioned (again), you can dislike his voice, but by no means is saying a person's voice is similar to a predator who harms real individuals in the real world and has a real effect on real people is acceptable. I can't even begin to comprehend why someone would think this is even okay to say, especially to a human being. I'm all for trying to be open minded for others opinions, but I am reminding that people have no genuine heart when it comes to other people.

In my personal opinion, I think his dub voice fits perfectly for his character. It's always odd for me to see people say Nikolai needs to be silly. Yes he is considered enthusiastic, but by no means is that his entire character. I honestly argue he's probably one of the serious characters that hides it through a positive attitude. Of course, I have my issue with his dub voice but it could be production issues back then with the rush of scheduling but who genuinely knows.

All I'll say is this: never blame the Voice actors. They are just doing their job. There is always a bigger picture that meets the eye. I may or may not potentially make a whole analysis on Nikolai's dub voice and all of the evidence I have for him but as of now, I'll continue to do take a break and work on my other analysis of nikolai for the time being.
