Pulled Pork with Pineapple BBQ Sauce is a tasty dish that is both sweet and savory. The tangy and fruity flavors of the homemade pineapple barbecue sauce go well with the soft and juicy slow-cooked pork. A delightful new take on an old favorite!
Ingredients: 3 lbs pork shoulder, boneless. 1 cup pineapple juice. 1/2 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tsp smoked paprika. 1 tsp onion powder. 1 tsp salt. 1/2 tsp black pepper. 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper. 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced. 8 hamburger buns.
Instructions: Smoked paprika, garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper should all be mixed together with pineapple juice to make the barbecue sauce. Use a slow cooker to cook the pork shoulder. Add half of the barbecue sauce and cover it. Set the heat to low and cook for 8 hours, or until the pork is soft and can be shred with a fork. Take the pork out of the slow cooker, use two forks to shred it, and throw away any extra fat. Combine the pulled pork with the rest of the barbecue sauce and the pineapple chunks. Toast the hamburger buns and put a little of the pulled pork mixture on each one. Serve the Pulled Pork with Pineapple BBQ Sauce right away and enjoy it!
