Phyrexian language family terms!!
Because yes, they very much do have a word and concept for family.
It's really cool that the Phyrexian language doesn't make linguistic distinctions between Phyrexian and non-Phyrexian children. It could speak to the way newts are incompleat and can't even speak the language as adult Phyrexians do, which maybe categorizes them as not "full" Phyrexians needing to be set apart in society's eyes despite being core-born? But also, babies are babies.
The guide gave us "sister" but not "brother", for some reason...? My personal theory is that it's gender-neutral, because why wouldn't it be? ("Father" and "mother" do exist as separate words but they're used in a very hierarchal formal context, in either religion or family, so maybe that's different.)
Hey, putting out an open call here for a friend of mine. He home makes MtG proxies, and he wants to do his own Scrawling Crawler. Long story short do any of my mutuals know enough Phyrexian that they can write a reasonably accurate translation of "Elspeth sucks" in it?
I find it funny how the circle with a line through it that Phyrexia uses as the symbol of their entire civilization is also apparently the equivalent of a schwa in their language. They really picked the least interesting letter possible to identify themselves with.

I normally tend to avoid doing non-english cards on here if I can help it, but I think for Elesh Norn I can make an exception. In my opinion she’s probably praetor #3 that I want to see the least, with first and second place going to Jin-Gitaxias and Vorinclex. She’s a solid 4/7 creature, and pumps everyone else on your side for +2/+2 and gives your opponent’s creatures -2/-2. This completely negates a whole bunch of small utility commanders and utility creatures, leading to some awkward moments when she drops and wipes most of the board. One thing to note with her is that if she’s cloned on the same side of the field, state based actions will briefly give everything -4/-4 and kill things at the same time it would check for the legend rule, meaning that cloning her even if it’s your own can be very beneficial. She’s a great recursion target, an awesome creature in general. Just don’t expect people to be happy to see her.

Is your Plane Shift supplement going to have tables for Phyrexian names? Or other random tables? I like random tables haha.
I don't generally make set name lists because I don't want to make certain names more commonly used than others just by virtue of being on the list (if that makes sense????) and also because I'd want a perfectly authentic-to-the-Phyrexian-language list that isn't possible with the information we have. That said, I know Phyrexian names can be difficult so I should probably add something. To be determined.
I also have certain headcanons like the idea that core-born Phyrexians do not tend to have names that end in vowel + glottal stop, at least as written in their native language (sometimes anglicization adds vowels at the end, as in Avaricta from Avarict). It's just a pattern I have noticed between all the named Phyrexians we got in the actual Phyrexian language.
That said there can definitely be random tables. Notably,
