Hi friend! Omg that’s awesome thanks for the confirmation! It seemed that way to me but I wasn’t focused on it specifically when I watched so I wasn’t 100% sure. I remember hearing that Will’s character was also supposed to unconsciously pick up people’s accents/speech patterns too (I think they mentioned it in a deleted scene with Chilton?) but I don’t recall Will ever doing it (altho I’m so impressed with Hugh Dancy’s American accent, I didn’t realize he was British until after I finished the show).

The dragons are really concerned with reproduction because bragging rights are second only to anything sparkly in value- possibly even first, because LOOK at this EGG I have MADE, when it hatches it's going to have A HUNDRED BADASS HORNS and also SPIT ACID, PROBABLY and win EVERY BATTLE EVER.

But recreational boning is totally a separate thing and I don't see why gender should concern them, necessarily. Dolphins and monkeys do it enough.

I haven't the faintest idea about possible romantic orientations because I don't know if they form romantic attachments beyond courting for the purposes of kickass progeny spawning, and the interdependent relationship with humans muddles things up.
