Nix's Father
Name: Toshio Grim
Nationality: Japanese
Status: Alive
Quirk: Delirium
His Quirk allows him to erase someone's memory, going as far back as a month or two. Due to the nature of his quirk, it fills their memory with probable situations that could have happened, though everything will be hazy. As he is the leader of a major Yakuza group, this is a very useful Quirk to have.
Appearance: When he's put next to Phoenix, they don't look at all related. He stands at 6'3, much taller than his daughter. He has brown hair with streaks of silver throughout. The feature they share is eye color, or at least one of them. Her right eye, a dark forest green, is the same color as his eyes. They also both have freckles across their entire body. He's tan, and stocky, and has round glasses. As most people only know him as the owner of a large corporation, Grim Industries, no one has connected him to the Yakuza group of the same name, mostly due to the fact that he doesn't look like the leader of a Yakuza group.
Personality: He's very outgoing, and very intelligent. He and Aizawa were highschool friends, and have remained friends through the years.

Nix's Mother
Name: Adelia Lyla Grim (Maiden Name: Rivers)
Nationality: American
Status: Dead
Quirk: Infernal Blaze
Her quirk was a very powerful fire quirk. She could summon a wall of fire, that could reach heights of 20 feet. She could bend the fire to her will, and could direct where the fire hit, and when it burned, and could change how hot the fire burned.
Appearance: Phoenix looks a lot more like her late mother than her father. Her mother had white hair that faded into the same seafoam green her daughter has. She had pale skin, and pointed ears, which is where nix's slightly pointed ears come from. She had lime green eyes, which is where nix's left eye color comes from. She stood at 5'6. She was a vigilante before she had Phoenix.
Personality: She was sassy, which is originally why Toshio fell for her. She was ultimately a kind woman, and had a passion for justice. In her last years, she was still overly happy til her last breath.
Due to her mother originally being from America, and moving to Japan, Phoenix knows Japanese and English, and before her mother died, she took Phoenix to America. Phoenix is fluent in both Japanese and English, as well as sign language. Her father taught her sign language.

Phoenix is an only child. She lost her mother at 13 years old. However, she's remained happy, and she loves her mother, always visiting her grave (other facts page).
Her parents loved each other, luckily, Phoenix was not the result of a Quirk marriage, her parents just happened to be powerful quirk users.

Aizawa's relationship!
Aizawa was highschool friends with Phoenix's father, and they remain friends to this day.
When Phoenix was born, Aizawa was named her godfather, and after her parents got worried about her not developing social skills due to constantly moving around Japan, they gave Aizawa legal guardianship over her, along with them, so Phoenix could live with him and not move around constantly. Phoenix moved in with him at 6 years old. Phoenix did recognize that Aizawa was not her biological father, but he got tired real quick of her calling him "mister Aizawa sir" every time she addressed him, considering he'd be taking care of her for years. So he told her to just call him dad. To distinguish him from her actual father, she started calling him dadzawa from a young age, and the nickname stuck. It was useful for her to have another parent figure in her life, especially after her mother passed away.
She got a small portion of his scarf from him, and she treasures it as the greatest gift she's ever gotten. She always has it with her, but she's never used it around her peers. Its always somewhere on her person.
Luckily, she hasn't called him dadzawa in front of anyone except another teacher. He was talking to Midnight, and she was waiting to walk home with him (this was before they got dorms), and he told her to head home on her own.
This is where she slipped up. In a school setting, she was always careful to just address him as Aizawa sensei, but it was after school. So, as he told her to go ahead without him, she nodded and said "Alright, ill see you at home then, dadzawa!"
She didn't realize her mistake until Midnight started questioning when he had a kid.
Whenever they go on field trips, she sits next to him, as there's always an odd number of students.
