       gruesome  reality  finally  began  to  take  shape  for  the  delusional  queen  when  HIS  PRECIOUS  WEAPON  began  to  do  the  same.

       construction  of  it’s  basic  shape  had  begun  a  few  weeks  prior  to  her  boarding  the  naval  ship,  an  invitation  extended  to  arsinoé  by  the  emperor  himself  that  she  wouldn’t  have  otherwise  accepted  if  a  certain  commander  wasn’t  there  to  accompany  her.  she  wasn’t  sure  what  she  expected  before  witnessing  the actualization  of  orson’s  dreams;  what  he  was  destined  to  rise  to.  his  excited  signing  as  they  awaited  in  the  silence  of  hyperspace  as  they  leapt  to  it’s  destination  could  not  have  prepared  her  for  the  harsh  awakening.

       it’s  sheer  scale  was  MONSTROUS.  it  was  bigger  than  shiraya’s  own  moon.

       ‘  but,  orson,  ’  she  looks  to  him  for  comfort  while  the  other  officers  poured  champagne  and  MARVLED  at  the  weapon’s  skeleton.  ‘  you  can  see  it  from  the  surface  of  any  planet.  i’d  be  able  to  see  it  from  my  bedroom  window...  ’

       she  would  never  forget  the  sheer  PRIDE  in  his  grin  at  her  exclamation.  ‘  i  know,  dear,  ’  he  had  said.  ‘  isn’t  it  beautiful?  ’  before  leaving  a  deathly  kiss  to  her  temple.  IT  BURNED.  his  kiss  felt  like  venom,  it  felt  like  ROT  and  now  it  has  taken  hold.  it  would  spread  towards  her  head  and  her  every  limbs,  her  very  soul.  if  this  was  BEAUTY,  she  could  only  hope  that  she  was  the  most  DISGUSTING  creature  he  had  ever  laid  his  eyes  upon.
