Being kind to myself during my period means not pushing myself, being gentle with myself when I can't work and allowing myself to take down days. The world is not going to end because I chose to spend a day watching movies and drinking tea with a heat pack. Making sure I validate what I need during my period, and not tossing away those needs because of what either I or society expects from me, is the most important thing in the world.
