It’s still great the second time. What I love about Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) is that it recognizes what people like, and also that there’s a need for a change. We love Spider-Man, and we’re also kind of tired of Spider-Man. It captures what we love about Spider-Man while doing something completely different. This film is so fresh and there are new characters. I went with the Spider-Gwen poster this time because she’s my favorite.
I hope this film inspires more character diversity and inventive animation in superhero films and across genres.
