After joining the Ravagers a wall went up inside him and its hard for him to process deep emotions.
Long story short, he will deny his feelings till his last breath. Especially in front of the other Ravagers.
He's a "fake in till you make it" kinda guy, so he'll convince himself that you're just his best friend.
He'll share his music with you, dance with you, go on missions with you. Spend as much time with you as he can.
I feel like when he's close with someone his love language is physical touch, so he'll have his arm around you in some way.
Walking around you? Hand on shoulder. Walking down a steep staircase? Offering his hand to you. Telling jokes and stories? Hand slapping shoulder/arm/back/leg/anything.
