Peter: I thought you hated me.
Dastardly: Oh, I do my very best to but you're really quite endearing sometimes. I hate you for that too. It's maddening.
💋 The glamorous Penelope Pitstop 🏎️
What are your favorite Broadway musicals?
Penelope: Oh, there are so many! Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, Into the Woods, Hamilton...
Bela: I've always loved The Phantom of the Opera. The sets, the songs, the costumes... and did I mention Michael Crawford? Tiny's favorite, believe it or not, is Shrek: The Musical. As a big green monster, it's always spoken to him.
Tiny: Tiny love Brian D'Arcy James.
Dastardly: Les Miserables is a personal favorite of mine. I also enjoy Spamalot and The Producers. Oh, and Little Shop of Horrors. I believe Muttley's favorite is Hairspray... I'm not sure why.
Penelope: Well, who doesn't love Hairspray? I've always liked that one myself.
Peter: In addition to those already mentioned, I absolutely love Grease.
Penelope: Really? I never cared for it.
(pause)
Peter: What?
Penelope: I'm sorry, I just don't like it.
Peter: But... but it's Grease! The movie was even better than the play!
Penelope: Well, I never liked the movie either.
Peter: John Travolta? Olivia Newton-John? DIDI CONN?
Penelope: The cast is great, I just don't like the story.
Bela: Why not?
Penelope: I don't like the moral.
Peter: What's wrong with the moral?
Penelope: It teaches girls to change for the boys they love. That's not a good lesson for kids!
Peter: That's not the moral, Penny. It's about compromise.
Penelope: Well, that's not how it comes off!
(Penelope and Peter start arguing over the moral, the songs, and the characters. Everyone else just stares at them)
Bela: ...so how about you, I.Q.? What's your favorite?
I.Q.: Uh, I've never actually seen a Broadway musical.
(Penelope and Peter stop arguing and stare at I.Q. in shock)
Peter: (horrified) YOU'VE NEVER SEEN A BROADWAY MUSICAL?
Penelope: I'm gonna see if I can get tickets for The Lion King. We've gotta fix this!
