🇵🇷 Today in Cidra, the kids got to apply grout to their mosaic picture frames and paint wooden figures. Playing games involving the two giant pairs of pants was also a success. ✝️🇵🇷⚽️🏐

🇵🇷 This afternoon, my mom and I started the first day of camp at a new church we’ve partnered with, Iglesia Bautista de Cidra. Pastor Jorge and his family and members of his congregation assisted us in doing crafts and playing games. The kids also got to experience a Bible lesson about Zaccheaus and the importance of being a missionary, at home and abroad. Definitely a nice break from the city. ✝️🇵🇷

🇵🇷✝️ The last of Explora Tus Talentos was a fun day involving an inflatable water slide and pizza from Pizza Hut. 🍕

🇵🇷 Multiple activities happened today, which made the third day of Explora Tus Talentos one of the busiest. One of the man creative activities was creating tie dye T-shirts from scratch. Painting wooden figures was also another creative activity. Overall, the kids and teens and adult volunteers continue to maintain being kind and supportive towards each other. ✝️🇵🇷⚽️

🇵🇷✝️ At camp, everybody has been kind and encouraging to one another, the kids and teenagers and the adult volunteers. Much of the teens attending camp are quite talented artists. I see a lot of talent and potential. 🇵🇷🎨

🇵🇷 Near the end of the day, the kids got to have a free-play period outside on the church playground before going home. At each and every camp in Puerto Rico, kids continue to surprise me with how they come up with ways to something creative and productive rather than sit around bored. ✝️🇵🇷

🇵🇷 The first day of Explora Tus Talentos at Union Church of San Juan was off to a great start! The highlight of the first day of the youth talent camp is a demonstration of how to dance Bomba. Bomba is a traditional Puerto Rican dance with historic ties to West African slaves who used music and rhythm to communicate and maintain their identity abroad. The kids and the teens enthusiastically joined the fun. 🪘🇵🇷✝️

🇵🇷 The last day of camp at San Pablo today was the busiest, but also among the most productive and fun as well. Pastor Marc and Loida definitely deserve a big thank you for leading the morning worship. Pastora Nilka also deserves a thank you for continuing her partnership with us and our overall mission. The kids and the ladies who assist in what we have done are all very special to us. 🇵🇷✝️🎵🎶

🇵🇷 The third of camp consisted of creating lanterns as the main craft. Finishing the mosaic picture frames was also on the agenda alongside playing card games. ✝️🇵🇷

🇵🇷 The second day of camp’s two primary activities were painting ceramic figures and salsa dancing. ✝️🎶🎵🇵🇷

🇵🇷 Bible camp at Iglesia Metodista San Pablo kickstarted this morning. The theme of our lessons this summer is missions. Kids and teens in attendance enjoyed games and crafts in relation to this morning’s lesson. ✝️🎨⚽️ #biblecamp #kidsbeingkids #games

🇵🇷 This Saturday afternoon was an adventure involving hiking a trail in the Vega Baja area. 🌴🌊

🇵🇷 This afternoon, my mom and I rode cable cars in Guaynabo. Afterwards, we got to experience roaming in a butterfly garden and exotic bird exhibit. 🦜🚠

🇵🇷 Time to cool off after winning a game! 💦
