When I saw that Orion was about to be visible last night, I went outta my way to stay up late just to see him. And i did, with proof just right up there. Ofc, I was super giddy when I first saw him.

When I was admiring Orion outside, my parents who were sleeping inside the tent realized I was gone. My mom panicked and told my dad to look for me.

Outside my dad decided to jumpscare me (lol) and told me to get inside. I took one more glance of Orion before going back into the tent.

Ofc I had to explain to my parents about why I was outside so late at night. I was still giddy about it so I tried explaining it in the nerd way hehe.

My dad still asked me how it's even possible that Orion was visible, which was the exact same thing he asked about the other stars from the last post. He even asked me how I recognized Orion's constellation, and I ended up yapping to him about it for a bit.

My mom however, was more on the paranoid side. She asked why I was outside so late, and told me how I could've been kidnapped or smth. I simply shrugged it off. I didn't care about anything but Orion at that point and it showed. I tried to yap about her about it but that's when she said the worst thing even an astronomer could hear.
