I just love how so many got the prowl experience. Like by all means you all were far more open to this but the constructicons just crawled into your guys minds like warms and it’s so funny seeing so many of you draw more for them 🤣.

Funnily enough, I was thinking about this the other day. I think for me it was a Jazz to Constructicons pipeline, which doesn’t make sense at first but hear me out.
Since I got into the fandom I really liked Jazz, of course, the guy is almost universally loved in the fandom. And naturally that led me to Jazzprowl, the next important step ☝️ which then made me get more into Prowl as well, he’s not as popular as Jazz, but there’s plenty of fanfics and fanart that made the character appealing to me.
Which all of course all led me to constructiprowl, a ship I liked at first but wasn’t one of my favorites at first, just another good Prowl ship. But I think I eventually read one too many constructiprowl fics and got interested in them instead of just the ship. And from then on they have burrowed into my brain and will not leave lol.
What makes this even funnier is that I couldn’t tell them apart a year ago, maybe only Mixmaster because of his unique helm and lack of visor, but the rest all blurred together for me.
Also I don’t know if it’s just because I’m actively searching more for them now than I used to before, but I feel like there’s a lot of art and fics about them recently, which makes them feel way more popular than other combiners? But then again, I could just be biased.
