Do you mean almost every single canon Starscream? My guy has gotten redeemed twice in the franchise’s 40 years of existence, and sacrificed himself both times lol. Which, I have no problems with Starscream not being redeemable. Understandable, you know, not every villain need to be “good”, sometimes you just love a problematic queen. But I feel like fanon had to make up for his unused potential of a redemption arc where he doesn’t immediately die, that’s why there are so many redeemed Starscream fics or AUs, we needed something.

In my opinion, what often makes Starscream truly irredeemable is his trait of only thinking about himself. That need and drive he has to always make things better for himself, no matter who or what he has to screw over for it, an irredeemable Starscream has no limits over what he would to do get more power. I mean, think of the canon “reedemed” Starscreams, they sacrificed themselves for others, finally putting someone else before themselves.

Yup! I have drawn them with that in mind before, but I’ve never really talked about it, they can transform the tips of their digits into claws.

New addition to this hc that I recently adopted from a fic, for the first vorn of their life seekerlings can’t retract their claws. They’re always out to better cling to creators, or as a small defense used last case scenario. They don’t look like much but they’re really sharp.

Yup! Haven’t seen the latest eps (forgot) but it is surprisingly good. For it’s budget, ugly designs, and short episodes, you would’ve thought it be just another meh show for toddlers, but it’s really funny and clever sometimes.

Probably will be using her IDW design and just tweaking some parts

Haven’t done his design yet, but think of Earthspark Bee, but a little more bubbly and energetic. He’s an older brother in this AU so he’s a little more mature than usual Bee

That said, I have a question, and I apologize if it's already been asked:

In one of your more recent posts, you mentioned that although Supernova is dangerous, the Autobots understand that she's just a "child" who was raised to be a weapon. From what I've seen, Cybertronians in your AU have an equivalent to childhood, where they're small and adorable. But after they stop being little, where is the line drawn for someone to still be considered a child? Is it something cultural? Or is it based more on personal values?

For your question, by the point we are in the AU, Supernova is a fully grown adult, but she is really young by cybertronian standards. They’re a species that can live for hundreds of millions of years, potentially forever with the right maintenance. Supernova’s thousands of years of life by comparison are not a lot.

Here’s their full designs btw! I wanted to have them share some traits, like the visor and black and white color scheme. But mostly wanted them to stand apart from each other, because it’s funny to me to make them have very different looks and personality wise, just complete opposites.

Now, the Autobots in this AU are still the "good guys," but not in the "shining heroes who always save the day" type of way. They're people who've been fighting for millions of years, and that kind of thing leaves marks. They're not perfect and they know it, but they're genuinely trying not to become the thing they're fighting against.

As for if they know about Supernova, yes, the average Autobot knows her as one of the most feared Decepticons around, she has a very considerable body count for the relatively short amount she’s been on the field, plus her outlier makes her very distinctive. But, only high command knows who she actually is, who her creators are, and what she really means to the Decepticon cause. They keep it a secret mostly to protect her, because if the rest of the Autobots knew she represented the future of the Decepticons, a lot of them would try to get rid of that permanently.
