percy definitely comes home to various demigods (and some gods) in his house. gets home from the store and nico's passed out in his bed looking completely dead to the world so he packs him up a lunch and leaves it with nico's stuff because he knows he'll leave as soon as possible. comes home and annabeth and rachel are trying to convince his mom to let rachel buy land to build her and paul their dream home (designed by annabeth). taking a shower, listening to music and he hears apollo on the other side of the curtain start singing along and has to tell him to at least be on the other side of the door please. comes out of his room to go to work and hermes is dropping off a package for estelle (it's a book about the stars and constellations. it's her name and he must do his duty as the god of astronomy) and stopping to chat with paul.

I think a reason those “you can’t ship those characters, they see each other as family!” arguments seem so poor is that, unless you’re shipping a confirmed canonical couple, you are inherently changing the nature of the characters’ relationship somehow. As in, changing platonic friends to lovers, or enemies to lovers, or even shipping two characters who have never even met before! Who cares if one of the guys in your ship called the other one his ‘brother’? The people from that ship over there have tried to kill each other. This other one features two guys who are both married to women in the source material. This other one has a dude who's DEAD. Like, none of this matters. Follow in the footsteps of shippers before you and learn not to care so much about canon. 

I love how out of everybody Nico has ever shadow traveled with literally all them except for Percy say it’s scary and unpredictable and awful and nauseating and migraine inducing and then there’s Percy over here describing it like riding a rollercoaster in the dark and its the most fun thing he’s ever experienced and he thinks it’s something every adhd thrill seeking demigod would love but really everybody but him totally hate it even Will hates it like.
