Say that again.
bimbo!reader x fratboy!rafe
WARNINGS: suggestive, language, jealousy, protective!Rafe, light confrontation, frat party , Topper
You didnât mean to cause a scene.
You literally just wanted to wear your cute new dress. It was pink, obviously, and technically it qualified as a dress â it was strapless, barely four inches of hem, and light glitter that somehow stuck to everything. Youâd paired it with your silver platform heels and tiny shoulder bag that only fit lip gloss and vibes.
âYou look insane,â Rafe said when you walked out of your apartment.
You twirled. âThank you!â
âThat wasnât a compliment, baby.â He says with a smirk on his face, more amused than anything.
You just blinked, sparkly and unbothered. âDo I look like I care?â
He stared at you for a second. âGet in the car.â
The party was already packed by the time you pulled up to the house, neon lights and heavy bass shaking the windows. You bounced out of the Range Rover like you were walking the Met Gala carpet, clacking across the driveway like a Bratz doll on a mission.
Rafe trailed behind you, jaw tight.
You didnât notice the stares. Or maybe you just didnât register them as anything out of the ordinary. People always stared when you walked into a room. You were used to it.
But Rafe? Rafe noticed everything.
You were at the drink table trying to find pink lemonade vodka when Rafe ran into Topper and Kelce, posted up by the ping pong table.
âBro,â Topper said, raising his brows as he nodded toward you, âsheâs really wearinâ that tonight?â
Kelce laughed. âThat dress needs a warning label.â
Rafe blinked. That was it? That was the comment?
It didnât matter. His blood was already boiling.
âYou got something to say?â Rafe asked flatly, stepping a little closer.
Topper snorted. âRelax, bro. No oneâs saying she donât look good.â
Kelce shrugged. âShe just looks like sheâs gonna trip in those shoes and start a lawsuit.â
Rafeâs jaw ticked. âThat funny to you?â
Kelce blinked. âKinda, yeah.â
Thatâs when Rafe shoved him. Not hard â just enough to get the point across.
Kelce stumbled a step back, and Topper immediately stepped in.
âDude,â Topper said sharply. âYouâre actually bugging. Like, no one said anything that bad.â
Rafeâs voice was low. âDonât talk about her like that. I donât give a fuck how âmildâ it sounds.â
Kelce held up his hands. âWhatever, man. You're the one bringing the glittery Insta baddie to the kegger. Canât be shocked when people say shit.â
Rafe took a step forward againâand thatâs when you popped up next to him, pink drink in hand, totally oblivious.
âHi, baby!â you chirped, wrapping your arm around his.
The tension was so thick it took you a second to clock it.
ââŠWhy does everyone look mad?â
Topper rubbed his face. âNo oneâs mad.â
Kelce muttered, âExcept Rafe.â
You looked at Rafe, confused. âDid something happen?â
Rafe didnât look away from them. âWeâre leaving.â
âWhat? Why?â
âBecause I donât wanna be around guys who talk about you like youâre a fuckinâ joke.â
Kelce let out a dry laugh. âWe literally said she looked good.â
âThatâs not what you said,â Rafe snapped.
You tugged on his arm. âCan we justâcan we not make a big thing?â
Rafe looked at you finally, his jaw still locked. âYou donât get it.â
âNo,â you said, eyes narrowing. âI donât.â
The car ride back was dead silent. You sat with your arms crossed and your lip gloss smudged, giving him your very best pissed-off princess pout.
âYou embarrassed me,â you said eventually.
âThey embarrassed you,â he muttered.
âI was literally fine. I didnât even notice they said anything.â
âExactly.â
You turned your head toward him. âSo you ruined the night over a joke I didnât even hear?â
He let out a sharp breath. âItâs not about the joke. Itâs the principle.â
You scoffed. âOkay, Mr. Principle.â
Rafe looked over at you, brow twitching. âYou walked into that party looking like sex on legs, baby.â
You blinked. âIs that a compliment?â
He rubbed his hand down his face, glancing at you then back at the road. âYes. Unfortunately.â
You snorted but looked away, still pouting.
âI donât want people talking about you like that. Not behind your back. Not to my face. I donât care if they think itâs funny or whatever.â
You went quiet for a second. âSo what? You just gonna fight every guy that talks about me forever?â
He shrugged. âIf I have to.â
You rolled your eyes, but your pout faded.
â...Youâre lucky I love you.â
He smirked, finally glancing over. âI am.â
You tried to stay mad, but when he reached over to grab your hand across the console, you let him.
Back at his place, you were curled up on his bed in your stupid little glittery dress, heels kicked off, sipping water through your silly pink straw.
Rafe walked out of the bathroom and just looked at you for a second, then laughed under his breath.
âWhat?â you asked, lips around the straw.
He shook his head. âNothing. Youâre justâyou.â
You smiled. âAnd youâre obsessed.â
He leaned over the bed, kissing your glossy lips gently.
âUnfortunately.â

PROJECT PARTNERS
â„ pairing : frat!rafe x nerd!reader
â„ summary : your project partner is the popular frat guy rafe cameron, and so you two can work on it, rafe invited you over to his house..
â„ warnings : kissing
â„ authorâs note : enjoy!! đ
you would never expect that youâll ever step a foot into rafe cameronâs house. but well, a few days ago things have changed for you, after you got paired with him for a school project.
honestly, you were kinda surprised when he invited you over to his house, especially when he barely knows you. but what could you expect from him, itâs definitely not his first time doing that so. heâs one of the frat guys, and thatâs what they do right?
when you saw his house for the first time, your jaw dropped a little bit because you didnât expect it to be this massive. but again, what could you expect from him. heâs rich. you quickly composed yourself, adjusted the dark blue skirt you were wearing and somehow forced yourself to knock on the door. you were nervous, even tho you knew itâs not really a big deal. but still.
nobody answered so you knocked again, this time a bit harder. nobody answered again. you were now confused.. was he even at home? you raised your hand and were so close to knocking again but then the door opened.
rafe was wearing his grey sweatpants and was putting some plain white shirt on. you didnât really expect him to be practically half naked in front of you. you didnât see much, but you did see a part of his bare abs which caused you to blush a bit but you quickly recovered. before you could speak up, he did.
"uh..sorry i was changing." a smirk plastered on his face as he saw the slight blush on your cheeks. you just nodded and tried to act casual. "oh yeah itâs..itâs fine." your eyes met his, the smirk still visible on his face.
"come in." rafe moved to the side so you could get inside. his eyes roamed over your outfit, his eyes landed on the skirt you were wearing that hugged your curves in all the right places. when you turned around and faced him, he quickly looked up and spoke up again.
"just follow me. my roomâs upstairs." rafe ran his fingers throught his hair as he started walking up the stairs. you looked around the place quickly before you followed after him. "your house is huge." you said, just trying to come up with some topic.
rafe chuckled and looked at you again, grinning as he always does. "i said i live on figure 8, babe." the pet name kinda caught you off guard, youâre not used to be called like that.
rafe opened the door of his room and you two got inside. and it looked exactly how you imagined it. messy and dark. there were empty beer cans thrown on the floor, his bed messy, some of his clothes on his chair. the curtains were closed so it was really dark.
"excuse the mess, i uh.. didnât have time." rafe rubbed the back of his neck a bit as he quickly picked up some of the cans and just threw them under his table. you forced a smile. itâs his room so you didnât really care but it was too messy in your opinion. you just stood there and watched him making some spot for you and him on his bed.
he jumped on his bed, laying down on his back and patting the place next to him. "sit down." he smirked at you and sat up instead, leaning back against the headboard. you walked to his bed and sat down on the edge of it.
"you donât gotta be so nervous you know, i donât bite." rafe looked right into your eyes. he could see the innocence. that was probably the reason why he wanted to keep teasing you until youâre a blushing mess.
"iâm fine." you forced a small nervous smile. then there was this awkward silence between you two. "okay uh.. the project. hit me." rafe sat closer to you and stared like right into your soul. you just looked at him before you started talking about the project, the topic you chose etc.
you two.. well mostly you.. were working on the project for almost 2 hours straight. in silence. you were just typing something into his laptop, while he was just laying on his back, watching you. the way you were so focused and concentrated.. it drove him crazy.
he sat up again and waited if youâll give him some sort of a reaction. you just kept staring into the laptop, not moving an inch. he smirked a little before he raised his hand and put a strand of your hair behind your ear. that caused you to look up at him. he smirked wider.
"you had it in your face you know. had to make sure it wonât bother you or something." he mumbled, staring into your bright eyes with his. "youâre not very talkative, are you?" he ran his index finger all the way down from your cheek to your jaw before he let go completely.
you felt the shivers run down your spine, didnât expect that his touch will make you feel this way.. you werenât sure what should you respond to that question.. isnât it obvious like? your eyes wandered over his face, landing on his lips for a while.
he grinned wider. then he just closed the laptop slowly and spoke up again. "we donât have to talk you know." he planted a soft kiss on your jaw. the way youâre just so innocent.. or you atleast look like you are, the way you seem so clueless and all.. it drives him absolutely crazy. he canât help himself but feel aroused anytime you look at him with those wide eyes, full of confusion..
"rafe.." you whispered but got cut off quickly after he pressed his lips against yours, his hand cupping your cheek softly. your eyes closed a second after, somehow you didnât want to pull away. you wanted to stay like this as long as possible.
his mouth started moving hungrily against yours. his breathing got heavier, your heart was beating fast. his tongue rubbed against yours, that feeling caused you to sigh quietly in pleasure, your hands running over his shoulders up to his cheeks.
he smirked against your lips, his muscular arms wrapping around your waist as you two kept kissing. meanwhile your arms wrapped around his neck, your bodies touching. you could feel the heat of his breath on your face.
you had to pull away for a short while, so you could catch your breath even tho you didnât want to separate from him. your breathing was heavy, same as his. the smirk didnât leave his face, and it got even wider after he spoke up. "not so shy now, are we?" he licked his lips, his hands on your hips.
"shut up." you smiled before you pressed your lips against his again. the kissing got even more desperate, especially when you knew that the guy you were kissing is the well known rafe cameron.
â©â§âË this is my first time trying to write some story with kissing and just more like intimate type of stuff, but i tried my best! đ
His Tutor
College Frat!Rafe Cameron x Reader
Summary: Your time at the party is not what you expected, feelings are challenged and discovered.
Part two of âThe Tutorâ
The music blasted so loud that it rattled the windows of Rafeâs truck, and I could already feel my stomach tighten at the sight of the crowd. My anxiety spiked, but Rafe glanced over at me, his eyes softening when he saw my unease. Without hesitation, he took my hand in his, and for a second, I was thrown off guard.
Rafe Cameron, the guy who was always smirking, throwing out snarky comments, or tangled up with some girl, was showing me a side that no one ever saw. A side that was almost... normal.
We pushed through the throng of people, weaving around those who looked like they were on the verge of passing out. Rafe didnât seem fazed. He was in his element, and I was just trying to keep up. When we reached the door, he greeted the frat guys with his usual casual confidence.
He let go of my hand, his touch now at the small of my back as he introduced me to the group. But the guys were so far gone, they barely even noticed he was speaking to them. Rafe just shrugged it off, clearly used to being ignored by people who were too drunk to care.
I ended up taking the lead as we walked into the house, the music hitting me even harder now, pulsing through my chest with every beat. The entire place was bathed in flashing lights, changing colors with each passing second. The energy in the air was electric, people cheering, laughing, and downing shots like it was second nature. Yeah, definitely not my scene.
I slipped into the kitchen, the noise still present, but at least it was a little quieter. Rafe followed me in, opening the fridge and grabbing a beer, then glancing over at me. âWhat do you want, princess?â he asked, a grin tugging at his lips.
I blinked, caught off guard. âUh... Iâll have whatever,â I replied, unsure. I wasnât much of a drinker, so I had no idea what to even ask for.
Rafe chuckled, his smirk widening. He grabbed some lemonade and mixed it with whatever alcohol he found. âHere you go,â he said, handing it to me.
I took the drink, hesitating before taking a sip. Rafeâs eyes never left mine as I closed my eyes, clearly not a fan of the taste.
âGood?â he teased, stepping closer and trapping me between his arms as I leaned against the counter.
I coughed a little, trying to mask the discomfort. âYep, really good. Thanks,â I managed to get out, my tone a little forced. It wasnât a total lieâit wasnât bad, just⊠not something I was used to.
I sighed, rubbing my hand over my face, and set the drink down behind me. I wasnât sure how much longer Iâd last here. The noise, the crowdâit wasnât my scene at all. Rafe, ever observant, must have noticed the discomfort in my eyes. He leaned down, his voice low and smooth. âLetâs go find something fun to do, yeah?â
I glanced up at him, his arms still caging me in, and felt a flutter of nerves. What did he mean by fun? I didnât ask, just nodded, not trusting my voice. Rafe studied my eyes, his expression softening just slightly.
âIf you want to leave, pretty girl, just say the word,â he murmured, his words sending an unexpected warmth through me.
He had invited me into his world, and despite how much Iâd rather be at home, curled up with a blanket and a show, I wasnât about to back out now. Iâd stick it out.
I shook my head, trying to push down the discomfort. âNo, I donât want to leave. Where do you want to go?â
A smile spread across Rafeâs face, his eyes lighting up. âThey usually have some events going on around here. We can try to find one.â
We made our way through the house, passing by various chaotic scenesâa body shot competition, beer pong, and even a strip twister game. Definitely not my vibe. I felt my stomach churn, not sure where to look.
Rafe let out a frustrated sigh, muttering under his breath. âOut of all places, I had to bring her here.â He could feel the mistake weighing on him. He couldâve taken her anywhere elseâa new fancy restaurant, the old-school arcade down the street, even the thrift store. Anything wouldâve been better than this, he thought.
I broke him out of his thoughts when I spoke up, my voice steady. âHow about we go down to the beach?â
Rafe looked down at me relived that I wasnât scared off yet, a soft smile tugging at his lips. âThat sounds perfect.â
The walk to the beach was peaceful, the music from the party fading into the background as the soothing sound of the waves crashing took over. It was a welcome change. I stopped and let out a deep sigh before sitting down on the sand. Rafe hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do, but eventually joined me, sitting close enough that our arms brushed against each other.
âSorry for tonight,â he said, his voice quiet. âIâI donât know what I was thinking.â He chuckled, but there was a sadness behind it, like he was regretting dragging me into his world.
He could feel itâthe possibility that he mightâve messed up his one chance with her.
I glanced at him, shaking my head. âDonât apologize, Rafe. Itâs just not my scene, thatâs all.â
He grumbled under his breath, clearly still beating himself up over it. I rested my head on his shoulder, and his muttering quieted instantly.
âYouâre different than I thought, you know,â I said softly, almost afraid heâd hear too much in my words.
Rafeâs lips turned up slightly into a smile, though he kept his eyes forward. âYeah? What did you think I was like?â
I let out a small breath, relieved that he didnât seem offended. âA typical frat douche.â He nodded slowly. âThatâs what most people think I am. Who do you think I am now?â His voice was quiet, almost like he was afraid of what I might say.
I smiled, nervously biting my bottom lip. âYouâre sweet, kind, and you actually care despite what everyone may think.â
Rafe was caught off guard by how simply I said it, but it hit him harder than expected. It meant more to him than I realized. He grinned, his smirk returning. âOnly for you,â he said, his tone sincere and completely honest. I rolled my eyes at his goofy response and resumed my gaze back out onto the dark water.
It was a beautiful night. The waves were a shadowy black, blending seamlessly with the dark sky, which was scattered with bright white stars. It was a picture-perfect moment, truly.
Speaking of which, I hesitated before saying, "Hey, Rafe?" I looked over to find him already looking at me. He hummed in response, waiting for me to continue.
I fiddled with my fingers, nervous. "S-so, when we were walking around, I saw this⊠uh, photo booth, and Iâve always wanted to try one andâ" I rambled, unsure if he'd think it was silly.
He just smirked at me, a charming look on his face. "Câmon, letâs go," he said, standing up.
I stared up at him, a little confused. "Letâs go take some pictures, princess," he added, his smile wide. I chuckled, feeling a little lighter, and took his hand.
*:ïŸâ§*:ïŸ
âHow does this work?â
âUh- I have no idea? Maybe-â
I pressed the buttons on the screen, and a timer popped up. I chuckled, glancing over at Rafe. âWhat pose?â I asked.
He looked at me, clearly confused, and I couldnât help but laugh. Just as I did, the flash went off, capturing our first photo. I gasped and quickly turned to the screen. âOkay, quick, we need to pose!â I said.
Rafe smirked mischievously. âLetâs do middle fingers.â Without missing a beat, he raised both his middle fingers, and I followed his lead without thinking. The flash filled the booth, and we had our second picture. âRafe!â I scolded and he just shrugged.
âLook nice this time, just smile,â I said, glancing up at him.
He rolled his eyes but wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me closer. I smiled, feeling the warmth of his touch, and then stole a glance to see him looking at me. âRafe, look at the screen!â I said and just before the flash went off he grabbed my chin kissing my cheek. I blushed in my seat my heart beating faster than ever. Third one down.
The timer started again, counting down from 5 seconds. My mind went blank. âRafe, what do we do?â I asked, panicking a little.
He shrugged nonchalantly, and I groaned as the timer ticked from 3 seconds to 2. In one swift move, he tilted my chin upward, directing my gaze to meet his. Our eyes locked, and suddenly everything slowed. He smiled down at me, and my cheeks flushed. Then, a flash interrupted the moment. Fourth picture done.
The timer clicked again, and Rafe seemed to have a plan. âHey, pretty girl, eyes on me.â His hand found its way to my waist, and I turned my focus entirely on him. This time, there were no smiles, just a deep, intense gaze between us. It was different from beforeâmore personal, more intimate.
His face inched closer, and I could feel the air between us shift. His eyes flickered to my lips, and my heart skipped a beat. I leaned in slightly, my breath mingling with his. Then, flash. The final picture.
As soon as it was done, I pulled away, and so did he. I stared at the screen, watching the line of pictures unfold. A smile crept across my face as I hit the print button.
âCâmon!â I said, grabbing his hand and dragging him out of the booth.
I stood outside, barely able to contain my excitement as I waited for the photos to print. Rafe's low chuckle echoed behind me, and before I could even turn around, his arms slid around my waist, pulling me back against him. The sudden closeness made my heart race, his presence grounding me in the moment. Butterflies stirred in my stomach.
Thee Photo Booth finally spat out our strip. I leaned forward, grabbing both copies and studying the photos. The first one was of me looking at him, his expression caught somewhere between confusion and amusement. The second was a playful shot of us flipping off the camera. The third had us grinning, his lips just brushing my cheek. My heart skipped as I moved to the next two. The fourth was light and carefree, but the fifth one... that one was different. We were staring at each other, so close, as if we were about toâ
"Those are cute," he chuckled, and I smiled as his arms tightened around me. "Hereâs yours," I said, handing him his strip. He stared at the little photos, his heart pounding in his chest. He liked herâmore than he ever thought.
âCâmon, letâs go get another drink,â Rafe whispered in her ear, and she nodded, her mind spinning. She couldnât quite understand the pull he had on herâhow she felt something more than just friendship. Iâm just his tutor, she reminded herself, trying to push the thoughts aside.
But she couldn't shake the thought of what Rafe really saw her as. He had called her his date, after all. Did that mean something to him?
Of course it did, but she didn't know thatâat least, not yet. Rafe's eyes lingered on hers, and in that moment, he knew he was fucked.
Part three out now!
