i started shipping a pairing out of spite once. i genuinely didn't care for it at first, but it became so common place to hate on it and put up statements that you're not one of the creepy, "problematic" shippers that it pissed me off to the point where i decided to just ship it. and well i ended up liking it more than the original one lol. from my experience, the "problematic" shippers had usually much closer readings of the characters and went more in depth with the intricacies of their dynamic. this ship also treated my fave a lot better than the other one, in which the other character in the pairing was the fandom's golden boy and as such most of their fics focused on my fave being wife beamed by how amazing and tragic and perfect the other is. the main reason why this other ship was considered problematic is because my fave made the grave mistake of saying the other guy is "like a brother" to him once. they ran with it and called incest ever since. sigh

the stupidest circle of hell is when you're like oh this ship is SO obviously supported by canon surely everyone must talk about it and then you find out the dedicated popular yaoi is some total bullshit

omg they finally came!! Now I can finally send everything out. I have to say I'm pleased with the wooden ones, they have such amazing brightnes and the acrylic ones are more pastel I don't mind that either.
I got so scared the acrylic charms were all scratched and I couldn't see the film protecting it but there it is had to pick it off from one of the crescent moon ones since no one has reserved anyπ

fyi the other sheith charm is almost done. But also I'm working very slowly OTL I jammed my shoulder muscle a couple of weeks ago and have had terrible nerve pain. Of course it's my right arm :/
i love finding art of both Keith getting railed by Shiro and Shiro getting railed by Keith
love when they are depicted switching it up
i think both display a lot about their character dynamics and how people can view them together
through my eyes, shiro being on top is sensual and intimate. where he was more of keithβs mentor, keith respects him greatly and they ended up both in a very traumatic situation fighting an evil alien civilization in space, are all factors that play into my idea that shiro would feel guilty at first of his feelings for keith and it would be an awkward back and forth between the two before finally giving in to each other
keith being on top in my mind would come later on in the relationship or the show, after heβd worked on himself a lot and grown as a person (say after the blade of marmora and meeting his mother)
i just feel like heβd be more comfortable in his own skin, his emotions and how he expresses them. and that would definitely show up in his relationship with shiro
