today we have some more obscure mphpfc characters drawn from memory and some ocs (dolly and makoto belong to @theduckling)
i really do think i will make this a daily thing for me, until all the pages in this notebook are out. there isn't too many, i find it enjoyable, and honestly it's good imperfection practice for me, for i try way too hard to make all my drawings be as flawless as possible to the point where sometimes it makes it no longer fun. i might not post them everyday, but you'll be seeing these around on top of my actual drawings lol.

Have you guys ever stopped to think about why Enoch hates Jacob and Abe so much? I know he is jealous of Jacob and resents Abe for leaving, but I’d say there’s something more to it
I have a theory that deadrisers and librarians are opposite peculiarities, just like Emma (a fire-starter) and Althea (a glaciator), and that’s why they will never get along. But nobody knows this because Jacob’s peculiarity is too rare for there to be any studies on it
In the Museum of Wonders, Miss P. says that most ymbrynes consider the Librarians of Abaton to be 'necrologically gifted', and even though she says she kinda disagrees, I see a certain truth in it when I stop to compare them. Enoch’s peculiarity allows him to control dead physical bodies without souls, while Jacob, on the other hand, handles and deals with the peculiar souls whose physical bodies died a long time ago
When I stop to think about how Enoch never really liked Abe either, and how, even though he picks on everyone, his anger toward Jacob seemed so much more personal (like when they discovered the bunker in Abe’s house and Enoch was so completely devoid of empathy while Jacob was spiraling that even Bronwyn had to kick him out), it makes even more sense
***I also imagine that Jacob must feel a sense of repulsion toward the dead that Enoch raises, similar to what he feels when he sees a wight. Since both are soulless bodies, it probably triggers a kind of 'uncanny valley' sensation in his mind

Has Jacob Portman ever gotten on your nerves?
I swear I’ve never heard anyone say they dislike Jacob,even though he technically has plenty of reasons to be unlikeable.
Personally, he really annoyed me in the fourth book.
And honestly, he can be pretty immature at times, and some of his decisions are just… a bit exhausting.

You know what really upsets me? My own headcannon that peculiar vegetables are just peculiar animals in disguise. On one hand I’m like “Yes… Blood thirsty worm sick of not being allowed to eat the lettuces becomes one out of spite... Good” but on the other hand I am very upset that it would mean there aren’t peculiar vegetables.
Admittedly I’m not even sure if peculiar vegetables are a thing anymore
