Which Narnia Character Are You? 🦁

I have a love-hate relationship with book fandoms. I love reading, but I feel like my opinion on said books is always dismissed in fandom spaces. All critical thinking skills and nuance is lost. I don't know if it's all like this or I just haven't found my space in it yet. I want to talk about the symbolism in the book. I want to know talk about why an author did this and why an author did that. I just feel like I'm just not welcome to do so. I might just be feeling imposter syndrome.
I have a genuine love of reading, and I'm constantly reading something. A lot of book fandoms make me feel like I have to love a book or my opinion is wrong. I have a very particular taste in books and I know it. I just don't want to be shamed for it. I read political and dystopian books for a reason. I love how it makes you think about yourself and the world. I love the imagery and the metaphors. I just love prose that makes you think. I get bored with books if they're not mentally stimulating enough for me. I prefer classic books, because it means that if they have stood the test of time, there's still stuff to know talk about.
I hate most movie adaptations. Out of all the movie adaptations of books that I have both read and watched, To Kill A Mockingbird is the only one that I feel like I truly love.

I headcanon you have those green stripey things on the ends of your hair (i forgot the name but like the ones Sadie Kane is supposed to have. I think this might be because of your username-)
And I feel like if I saw you in public you'd be reading something and I'd want to discuss the book with you
Ohh the highlights? I don’t have them but thank you for the compliment I love that you think I look like Sadie Kane she’s so cool! (Although this username is more bc of my similarities to Carter. I just put Sadie’s name in it bc I see more similarities between my little sister and Sadie than I do between me and Carter.)
I have a question though, why green for the highlights ? Is it bc it’s the colour of the aromantic flag ?
I don’t read in public that much, because I prefer doing it at home where I’m more comfortable. (Also, I am self-aware enough to know that if I read while taking public transportation I will definitely miss my stop.) But on the occasions where I do, it would be a pleasure to discuss whatever I’m reading with you!
(Right now I’m about to start reading The Secret World of Briar Rose by Cindy Pham on my Kindle app. The last book I read was Heavenly Tyrant by Xiran Jay Zhao, which I finished this morning. I’m also reading We Hunt The Flame by Hafsah Faizal as a physical book bc I am trying to finish as many books on my shelf as possible this summer.)
Thank you for your headcanons about me!
favorite non canon ships 🎤
I have no idea why it took me until now to look at my asks sorry about that 😭
(This one is from the 31st of March)
So so many! Ok I’m going to reblog this ask and do it fandom per fandom bc otherwise it’s going to be too long
The main ones I’m going to do are for :
-you can’t mention non canon ships and not have me bring up the Marauders fandom that’s almost all of them
-the Riordanverse
-the Shadowhunter Chronicles
-Grishaverse?? But there’s like 1
-Other fandoms/miscellaneous
I just know I’m going to forget one of the ships and I’m going to be so upset about it. And sure you could argue that if I forgot it then it’s not a true favorite but I forget stuff all the time.
