I've got Cyberpunk 2077 running WITH PATHTRACING on my LAPTOP that has a modest 5070ti in it.
Laptop. With a GPU roughly equivalent to a desktop 5060ti. Pathtracing. Playable framerates. 1440p (or rather 1600p in 16:10) with DLSS quality. Frame gen on 2x hitting 60-75fps in most places which is enough real frames for this game to be absolutely playable. I can turn off pathtracing and stay on max RT settings for even more performance. But PATHTRACING ON A LAPTOP WITHOUT A TOP TIER CARD FFGHDFGGH.
How do you get the in-game ss so high def?
Mods 😅 A true Bethesda modder will shove as much into a game as possible to make it look pretty and stress tf out of their PC
I answered this when someone else asked on Bluesky hang on
Mods used for graphics with DLSS preset E and 4k resolution:
REFramework's hybrid path tracing, 4spp, 1 bounce and occasional 2 bounce
Unofficial Texture Patch because apparently there was an error with where some high-res textures were
Better Shadow Filtering to smooth out shadow edges which adds to the environment, I keep setting around 2-3 to reduce flicker but has the risk of diffusing shadows too much
Graphics Suite which is no longer available for improved subsurface scattering, better clouds, and contact shadows
FX remover to take out the post processing filter and the vignette, then slapping Reshade on top (Clean Light for SDR | Better HDR for HDR)
Quality Water and RELit are there but I haven't utilized them much, still have to learn RELit
Was using the Lua Freecam mod but had too much stick drift from lack of deadzone on my controller, now using Otis' Camera mod for DD2 (locked behind his patreon) which has improved camera control for controllers, however now testing out Otis' DOF tool on Reshade against vanilla DOF
Rationale behind hybrid path tracing only: reflections and I like the color that hybrid pt has without vanilla raytracing on top of it, see hybrid pt + vanilla rt vs hybrid only
I got the base pose down for Malenia now... full render coming soon-ish. 👀

Hey guys, it’s been quite a long time. Nothing much has happened on my tumblr for the longest time so I thought I’d give you all a little treat.Â
As you may have seen on twitter and other sites such as Chillblast. There’s a lot of hype going on about raytracing having been implemented in Minecraft. Well it’s true! Sort of... The developer of SEUS called Cody Darr managed to outdo himself once again and gave us the closest thing to having full raytracing in Minecraft. His latest dev on Patreon named PTGI E5 looks something like the above. And it’s really freakin’ beautiful how the lighting looks now. It’s so bloody realistic. You just have to look for yourself. But in case you want a little tast of what it looks like, the above images are my Shadow of Israphel map using SEUS PTGI E5. Enjoy!
