Ugh. Paperwork could be exhausting. Very exhausting.
And Meister figured he was about sick of it now. Sighing softly, he turned on the nearby radio, hoping to find something good. It would help him concentrate.
Soap opera. Nope. It was horror-genre sort of soap opera, if that even existed, so there was a lot of screaming and Meister didn’t fancy someone running into his office thinking that the General Manager of Pantasia was being murdered.
Ooh, wait, was that music on this station was being sung in French! He smiled, listening..until he frowned, realizing that it was about not-so-nice subjects. He winced, changing to the next station.
Well, classical music was better than anything, he guessed, going back to work.

Ma. Seriously. Leaving papers in sealed envelopes and throwing them into the drawer is not a filing system. There is stuff with grandma’s name in that drawer and she died 3 years ago. And why didn’t you ever note on bills that they were paid, how much, and when!?

So, who knew that getting 'verified' for foster care would be so dang hard. Oh wait, it shouldn't be, if they could manage to keep up with all the files you have submitted... I am on round three of the copy of my insurance. It was submitted electronically this time, it has to be harder to lose. Or at least easier for me to find when I need to submit it again. lol. Maybe we are done NOW?? I am ready to be verified so I can wait some more! :-)
