Cold Front and Missed Messages both have themes of miscommunication , and Winnie is already similar to May , in the sense where they both try so hard to be perfect while also bottling up their real feelings . Augustine and August are very different , but Augustine would absolutely fit in Augusts place .

As previously stated , Winnie has a tendency to bottle up his emotions . He wasn't treated right by other kids when he was younger ( I can't remember if he was bullied or excluded or what ) , so obviously he tries to fit in . Maybe I'm reaching , but I've thought that Winnie is suicidal ever since I first played Cold Front .

In the beginning of Cold Front , you see Augustine walk in on Winnie crying when they were kids . I can see them being in a similar situation , such as when August walked in on May cutting .

I could definitely see Augustines hallucinations being swapped with Augusts dreams about May .

While Augustine isn't as " collected " as August is , I think he would react to the situations in Missed Messages in a somewhat similar fashion that August did , just more angry ( ? )

He would absolutely react in the same way August did when she found out May killed herself .
