i know that it doesn't have to be made the exact way that na'vi usually make it (after all, it's impossible because it starts with your parents braiding the beginning of it), but personally for me it doesn't make sense to just start from the present moment or try to replicate the past with items i'm able to collect now.

i'm absolutely not judging anyone else who did braid theirs, it's just that in my case, i don't want to create a waytelem from memory, if that makes sense? for me, the entire point of it is to braid each and every experience into it when it is fresh, not decades after it happened.

Ikran Shift.

I feel my secondary eyes. They’re sensitive, they burn. I think it may be because I’ve been staring at my phone screen for so long. Such a bright light. I rub just below the corners of my eyes, right above my cheek bones. They’re there, but rubbing them doesn’t seem to help. The bright light hurts my eyes, my head. I feel them. I close my primaries, they close. I blink, they blink. They see everything I see, I’m seeing double. I’ve never had shifts like this before, I’m becoming more aware of them. Of all of my shifts. Habits that I do, that I didn’t even know were shifts, but just my daily life, routine. I’m more nonhuman than I think I am, sometimes. Alien.

Hosted by yours truly! I love making servers and my system has several Na’vi and Avatar-related identities within it, so I thought I’d give this a go.

THINGS TO KNOW:

- You must be 18 or older bodily to join.

- This server is doubles-friendly, and pro-recovery as far as caring for one’s mental health goes. If interacting with or seeing a double could set you off, consider if this is the right space for you.

- Those with RDA-affiliated identities (Human, Recom, or otherwise) are allowed to join so long as you are cognizant of and respectful regarding the deep trauma caused by the RDA and certain characters that go along with that.

- Resistance fighter characters who are not Na’vi are welcome!

- Server has a small, friendly mod team, helpful bots like PluralKit, and various channels for socializing in general as well as for sharing memories or love for Pandora.

- No bigotry or discourse will be tolerated in this server. Respect each other and use common sense!
