You may have noticed my callout post on a problematic artist is nowhere to be found on my page. I will explain why
It all started when back in June I received an angry response from someone calling me every name under the sun and accusing me of being the very thing I called the original person out for. In regards to them, I would like to say that while I had zero bad intentions, I now see how it could’ve been handled in a more professional way and that I should’ve put a much better content warning on the post in question. I was gonna respond almost right away but I was advised not to by a few people and to just make the original post private. But, recently there things being said about me that just aren’t true and I’m gonna do my best to debunk these claims.
NO! I didn’t make the doc to expose children to the stuff. I put the warnings there for a reason. The minors they claim I’m showing this crap to were simply spreading the word out for the people inside AND outside the community about the individual in question.
To answer the questions, ”Why were you on e621 searching for Specter?” and “it’s secret for a reason, why did you look?”
1. I originally wasn’t gonna search his name on that furry site, but out of curiosity I thought “Hmmm I wonder how many search results he has…” and that’s when all the stuff popped up. And if you actually READ the doc, you’d know that I didn’t unblur what was blacklisted
2. e621 sites the source to where the OG picture came from. Meaning that ANYONE could’ve found the artist’s dirty laundry.
And for the record, I didn’t even know what the other site was UNTIL I clicked the link that was provided in the e621 upload under the assumption that it was just another furry site. People like Saru_Jia uploading their things is how predators and pedophiles get caught and called out. No sane person willing searches this stuff unless they needed evidence.
It was very disgusting how they even labeled me a “creepy stalker” when I was trying to keep an eye out for any updates on the matter. However, I will admit that making that update post to the original callout post was a little dumb showing the contents of his twitter, but there was no ill intent behind it.
And the claim that I groomed someone into helping me out get everything together is absolutely disgusting. I’ve been a grooming victim before, but I have NEVER done the act of grooming ever nor would I even do that kind of crap.
One more thing before I forget, to answer the question “if it was so bad, why didn’t you look away?”. Let me answer that question with a few more. Do you think I enjoyed the initial discovery? Do you think I enjoyed having to go back to gather all the proof? Do you think I enjoyed censoring everything? Do you HONESTLY think I enjoyed risking getting a knock at my door when I was gathering everything…? Seeing those drawings were like watching a car crash.
What I’ve done was super reckless and I’m deeply sorry for causing this whole mess in the first place. I never intended to be the enemy and I take full accountability for everything that has transpired.
