The casual homoeroticism of pair programming
Relationships: Sokka/Teo, Sokka & Suki
Words: 3k
Featuring: trans cane user Sokka, nonbinary Toph
Summary: [And no, despite Toph’s teasing, it is pure coincidence that he always sits close to Teo. He just likes the easy proximity to the office lift, especially on days where he uses his cane. When Teo had started throwing paper planes at him, it just made sense to keep sitting close together. To not mess up the office. Because littering is bad. No other reason.]
For @unacaritafeliz, thank you for being a great friend, and for giving me so much brainrot about our mutual blorbos

We just defined a new type of pair programming - couple programming.
It's when the programmer sits comfortably on a chair near a desk or a table and tries to write code with their partner sexually using their body (with full consent, obviously).
An example: Ginger sits on a chair by the kitchen table, completely naked and I alternate between sucking him off, riding him, giving him a handjob etc. How much code do you think he'd be able to write? 🌻

Doing remote pair programming can sound counterintuitive and unnatural, but it doesn't have to be. This article tells you how to do it right.
Remote working is not a new practice, but it’s also not the norm. That has changed during this pandemic. Many software delivery teams were forced to move from working together in a shared space to remote working, which has impacted how they collaborate. One of the practices we regularly use in our projects is pair programming, and we've had to pay close attention to how we adapt this practice to the fully remote workplace. Even to those who are used to pairing in physical proximity, doing it remotely can sound counterintuitive and unnatural, but it doesn’t have to be. This article will go over three main effective remote pairing techniques. While it will not explain in detail what each technique entails, it will provide some scenarios for when best to practice it and what tools are best suited for it in the context of remote working.
