Sooo hear me out, I saw a gorgeous fanart of fem Andrew Minyard and so many great head canons under the post so I have a head canon of a head canon based on this female version of a character for you lol

The initial comment I read was in regards to Andrew being bigger busted in that gorgeous fan art and how that’s so canon to that commenter,

and to that thought I wanna add some things — because if Andrew Minyard was female i think she would occasionally wear binders, like I do.

Not necessarily to help with queer gender dysphoria as much as to help with the inherent sexualisation of the body parts.

Considering Andrew’s personal history and upbringing I think developing a chest as a pre-teen to teenager, she would have despised the extra attention getting a larger chest would have gotten her.

As someone who developed breasts really really early and also experienced some of Andrews trauma, I have a difficult relationship with my chest because it made people look at me like I was suddenly something to see in a sexual context rather than a growing child to be protected.

When I was but a pre-teen I had countless occurrences where grown men would treat me like “an adult” to then act surprised when I’d disclose my age.

I would be touched and it would be blamed on my clothes, and maybe this is a general experience of women and girls,

but my then larger chest did not help, it “aged” me in the eyes of adults and placed the blame for getting that type of attention on me, as if I had chosen it.

In my head fem Andrew has days where she wears a bra that accentuates her appearance because it feels like power — she knows far too well how messed up the world views women’s bodies.
