You gotta constantly remind yourself that you're on the winning side of this.

I just want to thank You Lord for everything. For what You've done, for what You are doing and what You will still do. I believe that You work everything together for my good. I'm thankful for every season, for all the joy and hurt, for the trials and comfort. I believe that even the bad things will never be wasted coz You even use them for my growth and learnings and I really thank You for not letting me go. All glory to You.

Correcting a mistake by another mistake? Whuuut? Vengeance may sound helpful at first, i know that feeling. But it always, always, always crops out the trouble from your vision. It will just make everything worse.

Over familiarity kills passion.

If you believe that you will only gain the blessings of God by serving and working hard for His Kingdom, you better think twice. But if you are serving and working hard for His Kingdom because you believe that He 'already gave' you His abundant blessings even if you haven't received it tangibly, that's true faith. There is a great difference between faith in what you did and faith in what God did. And the latter is more powerful than the other. :)

Everything should start on 'what Jesus did for me' then your 'what can I do for Jesus' will just follow. Because you can do this and do that just because of legalities but your heart is not really into it. You're maybe asking 'why is there no joy?' That's the time you really have to check your heart, go back to basics, redirect your focus. True obedience will only be achieved because you understood and received grace first. When you received grace with all your heart, that's the time you will obey wholeheartedly. :)
