As many Tally Hall fans already know, Courtney (one of Joe’s exes) has a tumblr in which she has brought up information about Joe’s true nature. Believe me I am not trying to make light of the situation and I am not saying she’s lying. I’m saying that many of us are over reacting. 

We have no way of proving anything she has said and we have a screencap of her talking to Rob, she stated, “[She] very nearly proposed a TH reunion except Joe is replaced with ME. MEEEEE” through some discussion in a Tally Hall discord it might be possible that her calling Joe out on some things could be a way to seek attention with the band. This most likely isn’t true but it opens the possibility that  what she’s said, while grounded in reality, could be a little exaggerated.

Either way, we shouldn’t suddenly delete all our Tally Hall or Joe posts, we shouldn’t forget we ever liked him or them, we don’t have hard undeniable proof he’s an ass and we shouldn’t say that just because this is how he is now we should hate how he was when he was part of Tally Hall.

We shouldn’t feel bad for liking his music, because that’s stupid, Tally Hall Joe is still different from today’s Joe, you can see that in THIS, because THIS is why we all liked him and made memes, that showed us how goofy Tally Hall was because we didn’t see that very clearly in their music (save for a few songs.)

Don’t suddenly hate Joe Hawley and everything he’s ever done in his life, and don’t take everything everyone says at face value, we don’t know too much about the situation and we only have one source.
