Which means we're one dance closer to our debut in Standard competitions.
I was so mad about having missed out on a whole season due to the new rules, and now I'm scared shitless.
We have so many talented and strong opponents. I'm not sure we can survive, honestly :(
Feeling all kinds of absurd feelings because my dance partner and I get to meet the recently nominated World Champions in our sport and he's like "I don't know who the fuck that is. Y'know, I'm not in the loop."
Girl, this is getting tiring.
Also, this is basically going to be a birthday gift to myself. I'd KILL to be on the same floor as them for just 5 minutes and my partner said "................wow................................what a gift.................."

I may have made a mistake.
Last night at the pub, I went on a rant about my partner when they weren't there, and I know I said some things that were an oversimplification of how things are.
Thing is, I'm tired of wishing to sign up for events they don't want to go to. Why the fuck did you agree to dance with me then? It was literally the first thing I told you: if you decide to dance with me, we have to compete. You said yes to this.
Why in the world would you come up to me and say "spending the day in a venue for a competition, especially if it is far, sure is a waste of time, huh?"
Why would you say that? Why?
