Got outside again today for a run! π€ It was a tad bit windy which made it chillier and the melting snow made some of the roads messy and a bit slippery, but besides that it was a good run! I felt good and just happy to be outside again ππΌββοΈ After my run I did this arm workout. I've been doing this workout for years, but it's a good one! Hits a lot of the muscles groups πͺπ» And now it's almost bedtime. I'm wiped out for some reason! Hope you all had good Mondays!
I had a headache and was sooo sleepy this afternoon. I came home, ate dinner, drank some water and told myself I could take a twenty minute nap/rest on the couch.
Then I got up and ran. I got to see the most beautiful pink sky sunset and be outside in nice weather so Iβm really glad I did it. Iβm also impressed at the distance! I got to about 3.60-something and was like psh you can make 4, letβs go! Then I checked it again at 4.30 and pushed for 4 and a half. I may not be the fastest and I may not be running straight through but I am making progress with each run. I am also finding myself looking forward to running. Itβs kinda crazy cause I always hated it growing up!

Want to know my absolute favorite thing about this run?? IT WAS OUTSIDE! NOT ON A TREADMILL WEEEEEE
8 easy miles! I do wish I had gone a little faster, but for some reason my legs felt really tired today. I dunno!
But I was just SO happy it was warm enough and the streets were clear enough to do it outside. I couldn't do it on a treadmill, I just didn't have it in me. And the great thing about this run is when I started it was dark so I was out running while the sun was coming up :)
I didn't plan on using a GU for this, but I was pretty pooped so around mile 4 I had a salted caramel one (SO good!). But aside from that I felt pretty good on this run! Outside runs! Yay!
So different subject, but I need opinions! Currently I have this water bottle that I carry with me on my long runs:
But I'm pretty sure holding it is giving my shoulder problems! My shoulder has hurt since Saturday when I did my 17 miles. So my question for all you lovelies is: what kind of water/hydration things do you use and do you like them? I'm thinking of getting one that goes around my waist, but I would love to hear what works for you/doesn't work. Thankssss!!!
