The shadows we casted into the night,

When we walked in the bright moonlight,

Have long since disappeared,

As even the moon cannot hide it's sadness,

For the once glistening moony glow,

Is now reduced to a mere dimness.

The marks we left when we treaded the paths together,

Are still etched on the trails,

Awaiting a return, of our story,

For the shadows to be casted again,

Little do they know, the two shadows that were once one,

Exist now, only in parallel universes.
