otto/alicent scene in 1x09 is so delicious. otto once again absolutely floored by how sexy he thinks alicent is when she takes control and fights (just like in driftmark ep when he’s also clearly attracted to her) and the only way he knows how to deal with that feeling is to channel it towards his dead wife because that’s the acceptable target of his attraction, which is why he hits her with the “you look so much like your mother in certain lights”
