i like to think that jasper is a very down to earth vampire. as simple as they come. yeah he’s a regular guy. no he doesn’t care for flying or sparking fire with his fingers. he’s just Happy to Be Here (for revenge reasons obviously). i’m sure he wouldn’t even look forward to walking in the sun. that would require living for too fucking long and he can’t imagine being on this planet for so long. especially if it meant talamasca still alive and kicking. what a horrible existence. it would be devastating for him to lose the simplest way to quit. in my opinion.
