As a legitimate redhead, myself, I'm glad someone is fucking pointing this shit out. People wonder why I get to upset when I see a character in book get completely changed in favor of something else.

Israel says they are fighting hamas. We know that's not the real reason they are doing this. Furthermore, it is not just hamas, it is not just Palestinians it is not just Muslims that israelis have a problem with.

When you are raised in a setting that secludes you from anyone who is different from you and being told that everyone is out to get you - you would believe it. If that is all you knew, that which has been told to you with such conviction and assertiveness that surely to a child it must be true.

Israeli zionists have a problem with anyone who is not an israeli zionist.

These people are Christians. They are not hamas they are not muslim they are not Palestinians. Yet this is the treatment they get from zionist israelis in west bank:

So I wandered into a New Age store in London the other day, drawn in by the rocks in the window. I always regret going into these places. But I get blinded by the rocks.

It was like a lot of New Age stores. Ya know, statues of Hindu gods intermingled with pentagrams and “smuge sticks” made by people who’ve probably never even seen a Native. Ugh.

But I saw a HUGE shelf full of second-hand tarot cards. And whenever I see that, even though I know it’s a one-in-a-million chance, I always have to check for the Collective Tarot. It’s kinda my dream deck, full of punk queer awesomeness, it had a relatively small run, and it’s out of print.

A middle-aged lady with blonde poofy hair asked if she could help me. I told her I was looking for the Collective Tarot.

She told me she’d never heard of it. I replied that I wasn’t surprised, but I always check.

She went to her desk and looked it up online. And almost immediately, she said, “Oh my goodness, how weird!”

They had decks with everything from anthropomorphic cats to abstract scribbles. How is it any weirder than any of those?

And then she looked back up at me, and something ticked over in her head as her eyes opened ever-wider. She cleared her throat. “Well, no accounting for taste, I guess.” She looked away. She didn’t look at me again the rest of the time I was there.

I’m not “normal” looking. Before she looked up the Collective Tarot, she probably assumed my lack of hair was due to some unfortunate disease. Now she realized it’s a choice. Among other things. I’m one of those weird kids she heard about on TV and doesn’t want her own kid to become.
