The mysterious song hasn’t escaped Hikari’s head, and it’s seriously starting to bug her. But then, an urge hits her, and she begins singing again. This time, strangely, it’s a different song.

Hikari was initially meant to be two people.

In the womb, she was two identical twins, but they fused together in such a manner that it merged the majority of their brains. At first, her parents thought she was two people, but when “they” first started talking, it became clear that she was one person.

“Hikari” has two heads attached so that one is looking forward and one looking behind, with a largely-shared brain. This connection means that her two brains are near-perfectly synchronized. She also has four arms-each head controls one pair. 

It was a spring sunny day when Haruto reached Zawame City, a recent urbanized place in the countryside where the pollution levels were below average. The place, even with the big buildings, still gave a rather warm vibe different from the big cities like Tokyo and Kyoto.

He drove his motorcycle until he reached a safe place to park and eat something. His dark eyes were seeking a donut stand but there were none at the moment. His attention soon was set on a stage and a bunch of young kids with blue jackets practicing choreography.  It seemed fun so the man slowly made his way to see more of it.
