★ - Do they prefer daytime or nighttime and why?
Daytime is hell, honestly, it’s a wonder she ever bothers to get out of bed before 12pm most days. She’s always been a natural night owl and greatly prefers to stay up late to get things done. She’s the type of person that calls/texts you at 3am or watches movies at ungodly hours of the night. Don’t be surprised if it’s 4 in the morning and she’s baking cake or making herself a feast to pig out on. Over time she’s been forced to put this urge under control now that she lives with an insufferable morning person. He gives her more of a reason to go to bed early, though most days she still has to be bribed into getting out of bed…
☁ - If they’re caught out in the rain how do they react?
It’s difficult to work out the type of reaction she’d have as I believe it would all depend on where she is or who she’s with. Usually it’s irritation that she feels and the understandable urge to take cover as soon as possible, but there’s the off chance where she’ll indulge in the excitement of it all. I wouldn’t be surprised if she either bitched loudly or danced. It’s all very situational with her. Though, Nicolette seems to naturally have that rain-like smell to her (you know, the scent that’s relaxing and fresh and oddly comforting?) if that means anything. She’s a lot like the rain, so maybe that’s why she only likes it sometime and hates it almost every other time. It’s all very melancholic isn’t it?
☺ - Do they prefer sour or sweet treats?
Nicolette is devoted utterly to anything sweet. In fact, she rejects things both spicy and sour (unless it’s a component of a dessert) and leans more towards things that are salty or savory. She’s a cake and steak kind or girl with a high preference towards booze. It’s her sweet tooth and adoration for meat that introduced the idea of learning how to cook for herself in the first place and, shockingly, there’s a lot of opportunity to practice those skills in prison. Though she prefers to be a glutton and just gorge on food made by others, her cooking (more specifically, baking) abilities aren’t something to be trifled with.
❄ - Favorite season and why?
Though she used to have an aversion to it, with the addition of Wolfgang to the equation, Nicolette has taken a great appreciation in winter. The irony is that while he abhors the cold weather, she’s come to be grateful towards it because freezing temperatures means gallons of hot chocolate and close embraces for warmth. Similarly, she no longer views the snow as a hindrance because piles of snow means fun and games. She still hates the cold part of it all and if it weren’t for the incentives that came with it, her favorite season would default to Autumn. Perhaps it’s her naturally feverish temperatures that’s helped her to build up some endurance to it.
♔ - Do they value loyalty?
Yes. Simply put, any relationship with Nicolette must involve a certain amount of loyalty for the relationship to exist at all. If she can’t trust somebody to be loyal to her in dire situations then she won’t bother getting close to them. Nicolette herself is extremely loyal to those she deems worthy and who she greatly cares for, so much so that she would willingly (if not gladly) crush anyone who opposed or threatened danger upon that person. She holds no qualms about betraying others for the sake of her loyalty (which seems to border upon obsession sometimes). Loyalty and trust are basically the same thing to her.
