i am actually making good progress on sexy speech therapy so here's another little treat! we all remember as teens we had car rides with our parents or siblings where we revealed Too Much, right?

The reason for this concern comes from:

• Barbara having a new solo where she ends up in jail

• Nightwing being alone in his new arc

• A Titan showing up in Nightwing #138

• Some Titans covers...?

But, well, even from all this I don't see why they're gonna break up.

Yes, Babs is going to have a solo comic, still no idea if it's a mini-serie or ongoing, but I feel like it could be just few issues.

Anyways... Barbara will be in jail while Dick will deal with stuff happening in Blüdhaven by himself.

But this doesn't mean they'll break up! They're just doing their own things, and while it sounds like Dick will go through some shit (Not Babs tho, girl be smirking in almost every covers of her solo. She ain't stuck there, inmates are stuck with her😭🙏), it doesn't seem like a reason to break up...?

They also basically just got back together. And Dick keeps bringing up marriage, their relationship is currently going well too. They're just going to be away for their own missions, which is normal and expected in their line of work.

For the Titan showing up in #138, we still do not know who that is. All the info we have is this:

Now, people have their theories on who it might be, three Titans being the main possibilities:

Garfield Logan: Because of the "Beast" thing, I believe. And, since he can turn into animals, the "ruffle some feathers" was taken as a bird thing?

Raven: Because of the "demonic" part, the "ruffle some feathers" since she's Raven and the context for the comic itself.

Koriand'r: Because of the "ruffle some feathers" and the "looking for some long-overdue closure".

You... Can guess which part got people to think of the break up, lol.

But honestly? Rest assured. While it could be Starfire, if it were to be her I doubt they'll get back together on spot.

Perhaps they're going to talk about their break up and relationship? We could get Dick and Kory to at least talk with each other and still be friends. They have so much potential as friends too but it got wasted as hell😭... As expected from DC!

As for the covers, it's again because of guess what character lol.

So basically they're covers with Nightwing and Starfire... But if I saw all of them, they pretty much look upset in all of them?

At first, I thought they were gonna talk about their relationship, since the first cover had them close to each other looking sad.

But the new one has Starfire flying away while crying (iirc) and Nightiwng trying to chase/stop/reach her?

So she either got that upset and left... Or it might be because of what's going on with Cyborg.

As for why it's them on the covers, well, artists loves them. And it's fair, we all got our preferences. So it's not that weird seeing them together on covers.

Overall, I think the whole Dick and Kory thing is either going to be about them FINALLY talking shit out, or something related to Cyborg.

Even if Dick and Babs were to break up, I also don't think they would immediately get him back with Kory. Like where's my developmenttttt😮‍💨

It wouldn't be shocking though... They kinda did the same with Dick and Babs after Bea, or Dick and Helena after Shawn... DC gotta stop this come on...

Ah! And I just recalled: I remember someone on Reddit saying that Watters doesn't really seem interested in writing romance. So, even if it were to be Kory that Titan (still not confirmed!), it might not be about romance.

I genuinely can't tell how people ended up to the conclusion that they're going to break up?

Lmao imagine😭 "I'm breaking up with my girlfriend because she's in jail"

Honestly having Babs away for a while won't hurt.

Nightwing fans will be happy to have Dick on a solo adventure, same for Babs fans. Don't worry guys, not being together in all comics doesn't mean they're not dating anymore!

(Also, see the bright side, antis won't have the excuse "they're together 24/7" anymore for some time ;) )

Still, you guys gotta be ready at the possibility that one day they might break up.

HOWEVER.

As I've said on Reddit: As someone else said, even if they were to break up, their bond goes beyond romance. That said, they'll always interact so, in a way, we would still get lot of content of them.

Barbara is an important member of the BatFamily AND the hero community, especially as Oracle. And it's still shown that other heroes communicates with Oracle for informations. If Wonder Woman does it, why wouldn't Dick? I feel like he would still ask her for help like in the 90/00s. And they would tease each other, bet.

Being single or dating each other never got in the way of their relationship. There are even panels of them supporting each other's relationships or talking about them.

One day, they might break up, that's comics. But they'll never be really away from each other. And if they break up? Again, it's comics, they might even get back together.

So you guys can relax🙂‍↕️🙂‍↕️

I don't think they'll break up. If they do:

• They'll still be close

• We got years of canon and other universes content

• They could still get back together
