Komane is Kokichis friend . She will talk to him and have conversations with him .
Outside of free time , she finds him a good person but what he does sometimes makes her concerned if he's okay .
kokichi has a crush on Komane , even if he doesn't know it himself , since he can't define the feeling of what having a crush is like .
So , the only reason they aren't dating is kinda because he doesn't even know he likes her .
At Chapter 5, [ spoilers ]
When everyone determines that Kokichi was the one that died , she lashed out on the remaining of her classmates , accusing everyone and not caring about him and being inconsiderate .
And she obviously started crying .
But overall , they are close friends with an unaware one sided crush .
