I understand the appeal and benefit of punch card based classes. Show up whenever works for you! No shame or issue if you miss one!

But damn if it doesn't work for me. Oh I don't Have to go this week? Guess it won't!

And that's not counting the 'different students every time - oh you wanted to make Friends? HAH!' or the 'every beginner class will restart constantly or be Wildly out of your 'beginner' skill set because the class doesn't have real structure.'

#I get it it's a good structure it's great for some folks #folks with more force of will and drive than me #oh if you go enough you'll move out of the beginner class and see people more consistently because those are the folks who stayed #sure but I won't make it there cause I'm one of the noobs who doesn't #agh #there's no art classes during days/times I can do next month #and the pole dancing class is punch card style #and clearly I don't like pickleball enough to show up for that regularly either #I should just cancel that at this point and see if the gym across the street works better for me #they only have like one evening class but it's better than nothing.#although again I'm not going to meet guys at Yoga I bet. ah well

Saw a vid on insta of a autistic guy using a tablet to talk about how people should stop saying the r word, it being a slur still getting used against those with autism and stuff, yk a real serious topic. I then went to check the comments and it's just people saying shit like "good job sweetheart."

What the fuck?? As someone who got an autism diagnosis at 5, why does everyone either just baby us OR they get mad if we can't do something that someone who obviously doesn't have autism can do.

It's always one or the other, please just treat us as humans.
