Gluten free Olive bread
- Ridiculously fluffy, soft and tasty -
Add before you prep the rest of the ingredients:
2 dl cold water 2 dl boiling water 25 gr fresh yeast
Add:
0-6 chopped olives, I used green Greek olives 1 tpsp olive oil 1 tsp salt 1 tbsp sugar 5 dl gluten free flour 1 tpsb psyllium husk
I ran this in my bread maker on a normal french bread cycle. The bread went a bit above the edges, so maybe I need to shave off some of the water and flour. But it was so fluffy and so soft and with great big holes, I was so happy. I think this might make for a really nice focaccia base also, I have to try it soon!

Literally have been surviving off of Greek salad with tofu feta and olive bread for the last 19 days 🥒 🍅 🍞
I’m living my best homestead life and baked my first loaf of bread from scratch yesterday! It’s feta and olive seasoned with oregano and topped with Parmesan!
The feta kind of disintegrated while I was kneading it so if anyone has any tips on how to get it INSIDE the dough that’d be much appreciated (I know it can be done because I’ve eaten it before!)
I’m so proud of myself, it makes the most delicious toast! I’m gonna make another loaf today!
