In an era before the internet, sportswriting was a decorated craft that many wanted to get into, but only a few ever did. Olean’s Jennifer Frey was one of those few.
Her career, wich began after responding to a want ad in the Olean Times Herald for an internship brought her to Harvard and then world-class stops at such papers as the Washington Post, New York Times and the Philadelphia Daily News.
