just letting you know that the last update seems to have (further) borked up the Old Sidebar extension. it's now loading with a significant gap between it and my dash's posts despite having Panorama to widen posts. one or both of these is interacting oddly with the update, i think. i'm on the latest chrome for mac.
Should be fixed now, thanks for the heads up! If youāre not seeing it, make sure to update to Old Sidebar 1.2.1

is it just for me or are most xkit extensions broken all of a sudden?
fucking xkit is doing my head in!
the damn old sidebar thing updated and now nothing works on the dash when it shows up. and I canāt uninstall it. it just doesnt do anything. stays on āuninstallingā and all you can do is click cancel. other extensions do delete so itās definitely just that one. that i cant get rid of. and when I uninstall the whole of xkit everything comes back the second i download it again.

For those running āOld Sidebarā on New Xkit, and still have issues with the latest tumblr update screwing it over - every time you refresh the whole page, pull up Xkit, go to Old Sidebar, disable and reenable. Itās been bringing mine back, I hope it works for you too. Itās a real pain in the ass to keep doing, but as long as I get my sidebar back, Iām ok with doing it until everything is hunky-dory.

State of the Old Sidebar
A lot of people have reported that itās working for them now. Thatās great!
Thereās also people who are having issues with it not uninstalling or not properly showing the sidebar. Iāve been able to reproduce some of these issues, and I will certainly work to fix them. However, I really wonāt have the time this week to dedicate to that with finals coming up. After exams are done and I have the time to do so, Iāll continue working to resolve those issues.
Of course, if thereās someone out there who has the time and resources to look at whatās going on, I definitely wouldnāt turn down the help.
Good news! Old Sidebar has been updated and should once again bring back the sidebar. You can manually make it update right now or just wait a few hours for it to auto-update.
Hey XKit question for anyone who has the Old Sidebar extension installed. Today when I logged in on tumblr, it seems that the Sidebar disappeared and got replaced with the BS that is normal Tumblrās āsidebar.ā
On XKit it says that Old Sidebar is installed and even after updating it, nothing seems to work. Is anyone else having problems with this extension?
