when I see something I'm tired of or don't like:
I wish Tumblr had a way to block/filter specific posts. I don't mean tag filtering, I mean "I see this one post & its reblogs over and over, sometimes tagged sometimes not, and it's just this one post(&rbs) I would like to stop seeing from this person"
(and maybe Tumblr have this does but I don't know about it?)
This isn't a trigger thing, it's not a general category I can flag.
It's things like that "do you live the color of the sky" post. It's just too long, too often, doesn't spark joy, I don't care what people are adding to it on reblogs, I can't do anything about it, etc., so I'd just like to block that specific source post so it stops showing up for me.
It also helps for some posts that consistently aren't tagged but /do/ hit my triggers.
No one can be expected to tag things 100% of the time, or manage to tag every possible issue 100% accurately.
Being able to flag a post to not see on your timeline would help with that, because you wouldn't have to rely on new reblogs to appropriately tag the post to be filtered.

Guys, you have NO IDEA how much I’ve been waiting for it to come back. I have a very specific version of trypophobia and a large number of Solas/Fen’Harel artwork has been extremely triggering since the Tumblr did that major update. I can protect myself again!!! YAS!!!
