(I've been lurking on your blog a lot lately, and I feel like the dumbest sea hag ever because I was called to Artemis and Hermes. And it feels... Not real, because it's not posiedon or Neptune, or an actual water God?)
Hey anon! Thank you for the ask! Okay well let’s get into this!5- what is that one thing that happened that convinced you that magic is real?✨- I’ve always felt there was something more (if that makes any sense). I grew up by the sea and in a field filled town. Before I knew what actual magick and witchcraft was, I always found myself talking to the moon/ sea. Speaking to them about my day, venting when life was stressing me out, and also going to them for guidance and clarity. Ironically, I started experimenting with magick in college and I found I was already on the path before I knew where I was going. I’m still growing as a witch and everyday, little things remind me magick is everywhere as all you have to do is “push” and observe.
9- What is your favorite divination method?✨- I would have to go with Lithomancy for sure. I practice tarot as well. But casting with stones has always felt and came more naturally. Of course, I’m always learning and exploring new methods, but this is my number one method currently.
In regards to deities, I actually don’t really work with any. Although, I know what you mean about feeling pulled to specific deities and Artemis in particular (probably due to my minor Artemis Fowl obsession as a child). In my practice I communicate to “forces” around me and if it feels right to talk to a deity go for it! There is NO WRONG WAY to practice your craft. Because at the end of the day you are doing what you do FOR YOU! Don’t forget that! Also, thank you for the ask! 💙✨💚✨💙✨💚✨💙
